GENERAL INFO

The Colorado Freeride Summit Mountain Challenge continues with the Gold Run Rush, presented by The Wellington Neighborhood.
Looking for a backcountry experience where you're never far from anything but you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere? You've come to the right place.
The Gold Run Rush has it all...fast descents, rolling terrain, and sustained climbs.
Welcome to what some call the most challenging race in the series. And to think we once raced this course on fully rigid bikes!

COURSE MARKING WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY JUNE 22

Thanks are in order to the following landowners. We race on your road, impact your lives and we really appreciate the cooperation!
Bruce and Trish Campbell
Drew Goldsmith
Lana and Glen McCleary
John Cooney

This event operates under a permit from the USFS, Summit County Government, and the Town of Breckenridge.

NEW FOR 2009

We've redesigned the course layouts for a few categories.  Please read the information and consult the maps carefully.
The BIG NEWS?  Pro/Elite Men and all Expert Men will ride two laps on Heinous Hill.  No.. we're not trying to be cruel!  The amount of extra climbing is minimal when you compare last year's Heinous and a Half to this year's Double Heinous.

The Country Boy Mine will be offering Mine Tours at 50% off on Wednesday evening.  If you haven't experienced the Country Boy Mine Tour it is a must-do activity and I highly recommend it!
