2009 PEAKS TRAIL TT START LIST

GENERAL INFO
For the second year in a row the Peaks Trail TT will start in Breckenridge and finish in Frisco.
The following categories will race the Peaks Trail TT
Pro/Elite Men
Expert Men 19-34, 35-44, 45+
Singlespeed
Sport Men 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+, Clydesdale
Expert Women 19-34, 35+
Junior Sport Boys 13-18
Sport Women 19-34, 35-44, 45+

DIRECTIONS and PARKING
The Start is located at the Peaks Trailhead, County Road 3 in Breckenridge.
To get there:
From downtown Breckenridge, take Ski Hill Rd. uphill toward the Peak 8 base area.
At the base area, stay on the main road through the construction zone.
For those of you that haven't been up there for a while, the road has been moved. Stay on the pavement and take the road to the downhill side of the Grand Lodge that is being built just past the base area.
THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE PEAKS TRAILHEAD. THIS AREA MAY BE USED FOR DROPOFF ONLY.
PARKING OPTIONS:
1. Park in Frisco and have your car waiting for you when you finish! This
will require you to ride to the start which will provide a nice warm-up. The post race party will be at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco so why not park there and roll to Breck? Frisco parking options include Miners Creek Trailhead, the hospital, County Commons, Senior Center, and Frisco Nordic Center.
2. Park in town Breckenridge and ride up Ski Hill Road to the start. There is no parking at the Peak 8 Base area due to construction. There are many parking options in Breck including the Gondola Lot, Riverwalk Center, and Nordic Center.

Breck, for $20 for adults.
Day-of
registration at the race site is $25 adults. Cash or Checks only...No Credit Cards.
JUNIORS 18 & UNDER THAT ARE NOT MEMBERS OF MOUNTAIN BIKE JUNIOR LEAGUE ARE $10, NEVER A LATE FEE!

The Peaks Trail Time Trial is 7.9 Miles.

START ORDER
All pre-registered racers will be started first, by category, as outlined below.
A Start List will be posted Tuesday night on this page.
First racer starts at 5:30, 30 second intervals.

We will NOT build gaps into the start list to insert day of registrants. Therefore, to guarantee yourself a spot with your category you should pre-register. Any day-of registrants not receiving a start time with their category will be inserted into the next available start time. Do yourself a favor! Pre-register.
COURSE DESCRIPTION and MAPS

Start at Peaks Trailhead in Breckenridge.
Stay on Peaks Trail all the way to Frisco, ignoring any social trails and minor spurs.
The Peaks Trail ends and merges onto Miners Creek Road, a dirt road.
Continue on Miners Creek Road riding downhill.
Ignore minor spurs and stay on main road.
Miners Creek Road bends to the left where it begins to parallel the bike path.
The Finish Line will be on Miners Creek Road just before the intersection with the bike path.
